Saint Nicholas, chocolate and plenty of cheering
On 6 December, Boxenstop Langenthal combines Saint Nicholas celebrations with Advent bowling. A family Sunday the children can look forward to.
On 6 December, children usually know exactly what day it is. Saint Nicholas is one of the Advent moments they look forward to. This Sunday, a shared bowling game joins the occasion at Boxenstop Langenthal.
Saint Nicholas, chocolate Saint Nicholas figures and Advent bowling are on the programme on 6 December 2026. That gives the second Sunday of Advent a place in the family diary. Children can look forward to it while adults plan the visit together.
At the lane, the next exciting moment often comes within minutes. A child has thrown, the ball is rolling and everyone watches. The pins fall. The child turns around, beaming, and looks straight towards mum or dad.
Siblings and grandparents can cheer too. Those not playing encourage the others. Those who hit the pins want another go. An Advent visit becomes an outing for the whole family.
Plan your game early and coordinate it with the Saint Nicholas programme when enquiring. If you want food, check the current menu and kitchen hours. The precise Saint Nicholas schedule will be added for planning your visit.
Make 6 December a day your children look forward to. Bring the people who should share that afternoon with them.
